Experience of Giovanni Di Mauro in the youth exchange Hackers of Life (HoL) that took place in Lorca, Murcia from the 20th to the 26th of August 2019
I was selected to go to Lorca, a little town in the southwest of Spain, organized by an
association called “dreams of tomorrow”.
I took part in an international exchange about cybersecurity project. The group was formed
by Bulgarian, Greek, Romanian, Italian and Spanish students.
Majority of spanish were from Lorca. The instructors were from different countries.
Everybody was really nice, enjoyable and pleasant. That was a very nice and exciting
week, with a lot of different activities like workshops, debates, games, campaing of
consciousness-raising, etc.
The language in common was English but I practised Spanish too, and I learnt some
words in Greek. The weather was hot but it was worth it. I would repeat that week and I
hope to do some similar activities in the future.
